Tax deductible support for Polyhymnia

Polyhymnia Chamber Chorus is pleased to announce that the IRS has determined that we are classified as a public charity and exempt from taxes under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Therefore, effective June 8, 2013, donors can deduct contributions made to Polyhymnia Chamber Chorus as a charitable deduction on your income taxes to the extent permitted by applicable law. Please consult your accountant if you have questions about this.
Polyhymnia Chamber Chorus is grateful for the support of our audiences and donors, allowing us to continue to perform choral music of merit that is not frequently heard. Financial support helps with the expense of rehearsal and performance space and allows us to publicize our concerts more widely in the Washington Metropolitan Area and to continue to recruit singers.
